Overview
A Cambridge technology business is hiring an embedded systems engineer to work across the boundary of custom hardware and embedded Linux.
The role suits an engineer who enjoys board bring-up, driver work and getting a platform stable enough for the application team to build on.
The opportunity
- Bring up new hardware platforms and maintain BSPs.
- Develop and debug Linux device drivers and kernel modules.
- Maintain Yocto build configurations and image releases.
- Support the applications team with platform level debugging.
About you
- 3+ years working with embedded Linux in a product environment.
- Hands-on board bring-up experience.
- Strong C and comfortable reading a datasheet end to end.
